Seasonal Reminders: Winter is Coming!

As we near the winter months there are a few things to keep in mind to keep your fueling system functioning safely and effectively!

  • Make sure to remove the liquid from your sumps to prevent water from freezing. This can make it impossible to perform and pass monthly inspections.
  • Be cautious about the covers on your tank pad(s). Make sure they remain identifiable so the snow plows don’t damage them.
  • Communicate with whoever oversees the snow removal on your property to make sure that they plow away from tank beds so that technicians still have access to them.
  • Pro tip: keep some ice melt on hand to use around frozen containment lids (prior to your tech arriving).
