Engineering Services

Staffed with certified professional engineers, including hydro-geologists and geologists, CGRS is focused on providing high quality engineering solutions for a variety of industries.

Engineering CGRS Engineering

CGRS Engineering offers many services within the fuel systems industry and also in research and development of new technologies used for soil and groundwater remediation activities. These services in detail are:

Environmental
From assessment to remediation of surface and sub surface contamination of soil and groundwater, CGRS has 20+ years of experience with solving simple and very complex environmental problems. Visit our Environmental page to learn more.

Fuel System & Facility Design
We specialize in designing retail, bulk, aviation and specialty fueling systems, either above or underground. We use are extensive knowledge to design a system to meet your needs in terms of quality, affordability, and state and local regulatory compliance. Visit our Fuel System & Facility Design page to learn more.

Dewatering Projects
Subsurface construction requires activities below the water table. As a result, temporary systems must be designed, permitted and operated during construction. CGRS has extensive experience with permanent and temporary dewatering systems even when the groundwater has been impacted by regulated compounds.

Site Development
CGRS is familiar with all state and county permit processes. These include Special Use Permits, Building Permits, Site Grading and Drainage Plans, and Flood Analyses. Our designers, engineers and geologists are familiar with EPA and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment permitting, including Air Quality, Water Quality, Solid Waste, Sustainability and Hazardous Waste. When preparing development plans, consult CGRS for best planning practices.

Groundwater Modeling
CGRS has more than 23 years experience using analytical and numerical models for dewatering evaluations and contaminant transport simulations, river analysis problems, as well as slope failure problems.

Produced Water Treatment
Engineers at CGRS are familiar with the industrial process required to treat Coal Bed Methane and Oil and Gas-produced waters. Produced water treatment solutions allow producers to recycle and reuse water rather than dispose of it. Recycling costs vary depending upon the desired water chemistry.

Soil Swell Inhibitor
With escalating commercial property values and construction costs, soil stabilization can now be achieved without expensive structural floors or piers. The proprietary technology developed by CGRS is called “NO SWELL.” This environmentally friendly compound; coupled with CGRS’ unique method of injection, can cost effectively inhibit swelling clays. NO SWELL can be used for new foundation construction, roads, and sidewalks, to mitigate existing heaving problems.
